Lived experience of using support services in York.

Who are we?

We are a collaboration between — Community Links — a mental health charity that provides a wide range of life changing mental health and wellbeing services in the Yorkshire and Humber region and the Good Organisation which supports marginalised people to share in the positive benefits of tourism within York.

Jez Russell Production is supporting audio production.

What we do

We are listening deeply to people who have experiences of services and community support. When a person needs support, interactions with services to get that support can be broad and complex. By hearing the whole story we can start to piece together a picture of how an individual’s life is impacted, both positively and negatively, by the interplay between services and support.

Click on the videos or the Learn More buttons below to hear personal experiences of accessing housing services and other support services in York.
