Kenny Lieske is widely recognised for his innovative contributions supporting marginalised communities through the intersecting fields of social enterprise, sustainable tourism, and technology. As Co-Director of Good Organisation, he leads a range of initiatives focused on regenerative destination management and civic wealth creation.
With an academic foundation in Politics and Social Policy, his interests centre on issues of social, economic, and spatial justice, where he has collaborated on research projects both within the UK and internationally.
He is currently engaged in an action research partnership between the University of York and Ilisimatusarfik (Centre for Arctic Welfare), investigating the impact of climate change and an emergent cruise ship economy in Greenland. This project is supported by the Natural Environment Research Council.
His longstanding commitment to social justice is reflected in his earlier activism as a founding member of ACT UP Edinburgh in the late 1980s, where he was involved in the research and dissemination of treatment information for people living with HIV and AIDS.
Natasha is Co-Director of Good Organisation and leads its research projects, Outside Influence and York Residents Know. With a background in grassroots activism, community-wealth building and social innovation, she champions community-led and regenerative approaches to tourism.
Natasha has over 30 years experience in voluntary, community and social enterprise development, public service transformation and community-led neighbourhood renewal.
Natasha is an experienced facilitator in seeking solutions from diverse groups and a participatory research practitioner.
Justin is a graphic designer specialising in visual voice and community engagement-led design — mainly partnering with organisations committed to positive change.
In recent years, he has focused on design for good — work that is sustainable, systems-change-driven, and community-centred.
His work connects a broad range of communities and audiences by bringing people together creatively to explore ideas, discover connections, uncover lost histories and help tell the stories that need to be heard.
His passion lies in collective realisation: interpreting people’s visions and experiences to create meaningful and interactive spaces, public art, websites, books and exhibitions that leave lasting impressions.
